Kenyir Lake (Tasik Kenyir) is the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia and is located about 55 km from Kuala Trengganu. Covering an area of 369 sq km, Kenyir Lake is Malaysia’s largest hydroelectric dam and surrounded by a lush tropical jungle.
The Kenyir Lake is a popular retreat for nature lovers, anglers, photo enthusiasts and fun seekers. There are facilities for water-skiing, jet skiing, fishing, boating, jet boat rides, canoeing, jungle trekking, lake tours & mountain climbing.
Freshwater fish is also abundance here such as Baung, Toman & Lampam.
