By Road In general, Malaysia has good extensive road networks that keeps on expanding. Most towns in Peninsular Malaysia are accessible via the North-South Expressway which links to coastal roads and other roads. The main rail station is at KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur from which the interchange to Express Rail Link (ERL), Light Rail Transit (LRT PUTRA & STAR), KTM Commuter & KL Monorail are available here.

By Sea Ferry services are offered to major islands in Peninsular Malaysia such as between Butterworth and Penang Island & Kuala Perlis & Kuala Kedah to Langkawi Island, both of which are popular tourist destinations.
Cruise line such as the Star Cruise operates around the water off popular destinations such as Malacca, Kuala Lumpur & Langkawi.
